The Amalia Collection

This collection is named after princess Maria “Amalia” of Saxony, who married King Carlos III of Spain. The Spanish monarchy was the first to have Merino fine wool in the world. King Carlos III gifted a flock to Prince William of the Netherlands & where they then breed up their flock for the Dutch government. The first flock to Australia came out on the HMS “Reliance” in 1797.

We want you to feel like a Princess in our Merino wool wedding dresses!

The Emmeline Collection

Welcome to our new Emmeline Collection, named after John MacArthur’s daughter (Nikki’s Great Grandmother), who was the first Australian wool pioneer.

In this collection, we are breaking some of the traditional rules of the traditional wedding dress, but in a fun way, and we aim to showcase wool in ways that make Australian Wool the hero.

How do I pick a favourite? They are all my favourite! Who would have thought Merino wool could look just like any other wedding dress? I do hope you love this new collection as much as I do. - Nikki
